NETWEST CASE STUDY

Building Enterprise Connectivity Across San Antonio

A NetWest enterprise network deployment supporting major commercial facilities using fiber-fed infrastructure and high-capacity wireless technology.

Talk to a Network Engineer

The Project

NetWest recently expanded its enterprise network capabilities into San Antonio as part of a project requiring high-capacity connectivity to major commercial facilities.

The deployment includes connectivity supporting:

  • A new Amazon distribution facility
  • The Toyota GFX building

The challenge was familiar to NetWest: deliver serious bandwidth to locations where the network path required more than simply ordering another conventional internet circuit.

Fiber + Wireless + Infrastructure

NetWest combined multiple telecommunications technologies to create the San Antonio network solution. The deployment utilizes fiber-connected infrastructure in downtown San Antonio combined with high-capacity point-to-point wireless links extending connectivity to the destination facilities.

The project required coordination across multiple network disciplines including:

Carrier connectivity
Rooftop infrastructure
Wireless path engineering
Point-to-point radio systems
Antenna installation
Structured cabling
Enterprise routing
Network testing
Performance optimization

The result is a high-capacity enterprise network built around the geography and requirements of the project.

The Air Can Be Another Fiber Route

Fiber is an excellent network technology. But every fiber connection ultimately depends on a physical route. Construction delays, damaged conduit, unavailable infrastructure and expensive extensions can make traditional fiber difficult or slow to deploy.

High-capacity point-to-point wireless creates another option. Instead of digging another route across the city, an engineered wireless path can extend connectivity through the air.

For enterprise networks, wireless can serve as:

Primary connectivity
Fiber extension
Private transport
Building-to-building connectivity
Network redundancy

From West Texas to San Antonio

NetWest Online has been building telecommunications networks since 1996. Our roots are in West Texas, where long distances, difficult terrain, remote industrial locations and limited infrastructure require practical network engineering.

The San Antonio deployment represents the expansion of that experience into one of Texas' largest commercial markets. NetWest is no longer simply a local internet provider. We are a Texas network infrastructure company.

Fiber when fiber makes sense.

Wireless when wireless makes sense.

Both when the network requires it.

Have a Location Others Can't Connect?

NetWest specializes in finding another path. Tell us where the location is and what bandwidth you need. We'll evaluate the available fiber, wireless and infrastructure options.
